This event brought together on the stage cadets, driven by the love of art and the desire to express gratitude to all the heroes of the wars of the past centuries. The participants could demonstrate their talents in two categories: "Artistic word" and "Vocal performance". Students from each faculty prepared their performances, the best which will take part in a festive concert dedicated to the Victory day.

The jury of the event included the head of the creative club of the Admiral Ushakov Maritime state University Marina Polukhina, the head of the Show group "Terra" Elvira Sedova and a graduate of the university and a member of the Show group "Terra" Ekaterina Makishvili.

The winners were: Anastasia Shcherbakova with a poem by Musa Jalil " Stockings "and Alina Rodionova, performed the ballad" Cuckoo " by Victor Tsoy. Many children came up on the stage of the educational institution the first time and revealed their talents to the audience and the jury. As the participants themselves declared: they were helped to overcome fear and demonstrate their favorite works - the pride for their Homeland and the majesty of the theme, that permeates the contest "Voices of the Motherland"
