International activity

International activities of the Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University is carried out in accordance with the adopted by the Academic Council priority areas of development of the University and organized by the Office of international activities.

Main directions of international activity:

1) Improvement of the educational process through the use of modern methods and means practiced, including the number of higher education institutions abroad through the establishment of creative contacts with foreign institutions, as part of international non-governmental Associations, and directly with specific Universities.

The University is a member of:

- International Association of Maritime universities (iamu, Japan)

- The black sea Association of Maritime institutions (BSAMI, Turkey)

2) organization of training practices and internships for University students in foreign universities and companies.

The University has contracts with leading shipping companies:

- Epsilon Hellas (Overseas) Ltd (Greece),

- Enterprises shipping and trading S. A. (Greece),

- Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd (Cyprus),

- Ahrenkiel Shipmanagement GmbH & Co (Germany),

3) Establishment of direct contractual relations with foreign Universities in order to carry out joint work on methodological support of the educational process and scientific research.

5) Participation in international conferences and seminars, both scientific and educational areas.

6) Invitation of foreign teachers and specialists to participate in the educational process and scientific work.

7) Development and implementation of joint educational programs of higher, postgraduate and additional professional education.

8) Information and advertising support of University cooperation with foreign legal and (or) physical persons in the field of education and science.

9) Issuance of a pan-European diploma Supplement to University graduates
